The Finals of both competitions will be played around 27th October.

Conditions for both competitions are set out below draws.
No extensions will be granted.

Nota Bene: If you enter any of these matchplay events you agree to have your Telephone Number displayed on the draw sheet in the Men’s locker room and website and allow the front office staff to release your number to your opponent if requested.

 

 

Singles Match Play Rules:

  1. Each player plays off their current handicap on the day of play.
    An incorrect handicap means automatic disqualification of the player.
  2. Handicap allowance; lowest handicap goes to scratch and the full difference between the handicaps of the players.
  3. All matches are played off blue tees unless otherwise agreed between players.
  4. Both Players are responsible for arranging the match and should contact their opponent as soon as possible after draw is published (see calendar for dates of each round).
  5. The winner is responsible for recording the result and if no result is entered on the draw sheet in the men’s locker room by the due date both players shall be deemed to have scratched. Matches will be updated on https://www.castleknockmembersclub.com so all results must also be relayed to jackcreaner@gmail.com
  6. All GUI and local rules apply
  7. Matches shall not be arranged within Member’s or Club Competitions times.
  8. Matches not played by specified dates will be scratched unless one of the players has received a walkover. A random draw will be made after each round to decide the pairings of the following rounds. No extensions will be granted.
  9. If matches are not arranged by the first ten days of each round, either or both players must contact the Competition Secretary via email at compsec@castleknockmembersclub.com. If contact is not made within the 10 days the match will be scratched if not played by its due date.
  10. In all disputes, the decision of the competitions committee will be final.

 

Fourball Match Play Rules:

  3. All matches are played off blue tees. Unless otherwise agreed between the players.
  4. Both Teams are responsible for arranging the match and should contact their opponents as soon as possible after draw is published (see calendar for dates of each round).
