Shots is based on the rounded Course Handicap. The player with the lowest Course Handicap plays off 0. The other players receive 90% of the difference, rounded to a whole number.
This calculator is designed primarily to show the number of shots received by each player in a Four Ball Match Play match.
Each player enters their Handicap Index, and the calculator works out a Course Handicap based on the selected tee.

Although most matches are normally played from the Blue tees, the tee can be changed for any player. This means the calculator can also be used where players are playing from different tees.
The main purpose of the calculator is to give players a quick and simple way of agreeing shots received before the match starts.
